Quality Catering Seeks Drivers for Child Care, Adult Day Care Meal Delivery
Quality Catering is now seeking qualified drivers to deliver prepared meals to child care centers, private grade schools and adult day care centers in northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin.
Meals are delivered in trucks and vans from our Lake Villa, Illinois, commissary.
During loading, drivers will ensure accuracy of meal order for each client on his or her route. Drivers also will ensure their routes are handled in the most optimal manner to ensure customers receive their orders on time, every day.
Candidates for our driving routes must:
- Be dependable and available early mornings
- Have a clean motor vehicle record
- Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical
- Be able to pass drug screening
- Be able to learn new routes quickly
- Maintain a neat appearance and wear a uniform
- Be able to carry 50 pounds and lift 70 pounds
- Pass all background checks
- Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Be able to stoop and/or bend occasionally
- Be able to read a map and understand directions
- Possess good written and oral communication skills
- Have the ability to read, write and speak English
- Possess good customer skills
- Be able to maintain regular attendance as scheduled.
